COMEDY CLUB The Canary Wharf Comedy Club takes place in the East Wintergarden on Tuesday 20 November. This event features top quality, comedy acts and is set to be a great night out. Comedians on the night include Jeff Green, Paul Tonkinson, Miles Jupp, John Gordillo and Jarred Christmas. The evening starts at 7.15pm, there is a cash bar and food available from doors opening at 6.15pm. SANTA'S ARRIVAL Celebrate Santa's Arrival at Canary Wharf on Saturday 24 November from 11am - 5pm with a magical day full of fun and festivities! All activities are FREE and include a spectacular Christmas show in Canary Wharf's East Wintergarden*, festive workshops, face painting and opportunities to meet and greet fairytale characters. * Tickets are limited, available on a first come, first served basis and must be booked in advance at www.mycanarywharf.com. Santa's dazzling grotto will also open on Saturday 24 November, visits to Santa cost £1 and all proceeds go to Richard House Children's Hospice. The grotto is open from 11am - 5pm* on this special day. *Please note that if necessary the grotto queue will closed to ensure that everyone queuing is able to visit Santa before 5pm.
A NIGHT WITH THE STARS On Thursday 6 December we will be hosting our festive shopping event 'A Night with the Stars'. In addition to an extensive programme of entertainment featuring look-a-likes and tribute acts, shoppers are invited to take advantage of significant discount in Canary Wharf's shops. To date discounts include 20% off at Cecil Gee, Jones Bootmaker, Perfect Presents, Runners Need, sweatyBetty, Wallis and Warehouse. In October the White Company opened in Cabot Please West, specialising in supplying a stylish range of home accessories. The Cabot Place West store is the first in the country to stock the festive range and also incorporates The Little White Clothing Company, selling clothes and accessories for children. The store joins Space NK, The Gentry Barber Shop, Brera and others in the recently renovated Cabot Place West. A host of other names including Zara, Massimo Dutti, Hugo Boss, and Kate Kuba will open in March 2008.
